Launch Notes

Bones and Coins is live on Steam. Official “out now” copy landed on Monday 7 September 2026, matching the 10:00 AM UTC unlock promised on 21 August. Launch week advertised a 25% discount. Steam’s store page has since shown Positive user reviews (10 reviews, 100% positive in the snapshot this wiki checked). This page is the launch box. Demo history stays on Demo Patch Notes. The timeline hub is Updates.

Buy it at app 4134650. The demo remains a separate app, 4213470 — do not assume saves carry over.

What the full game ships

Launch and pre-launch posts agree on the contents:

  • 8 dungeon rooms with different enemies, challenges, and loot — walkthrough on dungeon rooms.
  • 16 weapons with unique attack styles and animations — forge guide on the Blacksmith page.
  • 6 recruitable heroes with abilities and upgrade paths — four named in demo notes (Barbarian, Bowman/Archer, Shaman, Wizard) on the hero roster.
  • 9 unique enemies with exclusive drops — enemies.
  • A skill tree of about 160–180 permanent upgrades — routing on the skill tree guide.
  • Hero blessings (five slots per hero in full-game notes) — blessings.
  • Expeditions with extra challenges and rewards — Expeditions.
  • About 4–5 hours for an optimized playthrough, longer if you experiment.

Added since the demo, per the August post: Expeditions, hero abilities, new playable heroes, the complete blessing system, new rooms, a bigger tree, more weapons, enemies, upgrades, and loot.

Price, reviews, and length arguments

The 25% launch discount is official. This wiki will not invent a base dollar figure Steam did not print in the sources we used. Pre-launch community threads already argued about length versus price after Idle Cub finished a pre-release copy in about 3.5 hours of video. Official target remains 4–5 hours optimized. That is a short incremental, not a live-service. The review page is the “is it for you?” write-up.

Early Steam reviews sitting at Positive / 10 / 100% is a tiny sample. Read it as “the people who posted liked the loop,” not as a Metacritic. Add your own review after a real torch run.

What to do on day one

  1. Confirm Windows 10 64-bit and 4 GB RAM on system requirements.
  2. Follow Getting Started: spawn count, coin value, Barbarian.
  3. Learn the HUD on How to Play.
  4. Do not open Expeditions until the default party exists.
  5. Bookmark Updates for the first post-launch patch.

Fake redeem codes will spread this week. Bones and Coins is a paid Steam title. This wiki has no codes page on purpose.

Who shipped it

Troyd Games (solo, Steam news signed Kemal). Rogue Duck Interactive worldwide, Gamersky Games in Asia regions (China, Korea, Japan). Store legal line: 2026 Troyd Games, published by Rogue Duck Interactive LLC. More URLs on Links.

Hardware questions belong on system requirements. Exclusive skeleton parts belong on enemies. Weapon recipes belong on the Blacksmith page. Do not wait for a community spreadsheet to start the first torch.

If a hotfix lands that changes blessing counts, skeleton caps, or hero names, this page will not silently rewrite history. The new note goes on the Updates hub, and the relevant guide changes in place. Keep this launch article as the day-one snapshot: out now, 25% off, eight rooms, six heroes, sixteen weapons, nine unique enemies, Expeditions, and a short campaign.
